Terpenes in nature are the chemicals produced by plants that give them their taste and fragrance. You will probably recognize terpene flavor descriptions like lemon and pine in the terpene names limonene and pinene.
Extracting Terpenes From the Plant
Terpenes can be isolated for use in cleaning and cosmetic products (as well as for vaping) through several different extraction methods. The most common methods of extraction currently use a supercritical CO2 liquid or a solvent such as ethanol.
Once the terpenes are extracted and isolated, they can be added to other products or mixed together to produce specific flavors and flavor profiles. That is where our Pure line of terpenes comes in.
Enhancing Your Vape

How to Make Vape Juice with Terpenes
Now that you understand what our terpenes are, how do you use our terpene flavor liquids to prepare your vape juice? As described in our useful guide, you’ll need a temperature-controlled hotplate, a cannabis terpene starter kit, your concentrate or extract, and a bottle of Pure or Strain-Specific terpenes.
In the glass vial, mix together your concentrate and terpenes at a ratio of 0.1 – 0.5 mL of terpenes for each 1 g of concentrate. 4 drops is about the same as 0.1 mL. Heat this mixture at a temperature lower than 150 degrees Fahrenheit until it melts together into a unified liquid. Take the vial off the hotplate with some heat-proof gloves, stir the mixture to complete the fusion process, and transfer it into your cartridge using the Luer lock syringe.
